Leeds United: Fans hit out at Marcelo Bielsa after comments following Sheffield Wednesday defeat - Leeds United

Leeds United fans have been hitting out at manager Marcelo Bielsa after his comments following the disappointing home defeat to Sheffield Wednesday. Following the game, it seemed as though the Argentine was lauding his side’s ability to create chances as he claimed his side create an average of ‘ten chances per match’ (via LUFC Data). Now, it seems Bielsa’s comments are making this one fan fall asleep as he lashed out at the 64-year-old.

Finishing was once again on the agenda as the Whites struggled to take their chances against Garry Monk’s side. Despite having 14 shots on goal, the Yorkshire outfit managed to get just five of them on target with Patrick Bamford missing a ‘fine chance’ at the start of the second half (via BBC).

It’s a worrying aspect of the side’s play which carries on from their FA Cup tie away to Arsenal, where the side missed numerous first-half chances on their way to a 1-0 defeat. As a result, fans took to Twitter as they hit out at Bielsa for his comments on the side’s finishing. Here is a selection of tweets from the Elland Road faithful:

Leeds fans, what do you make of Bielsa’s comments on the side’s finishing? Let us know your thoughts!
