Leeds United: Fans hit out at referee Darren England after duo receive stadium bans

Many Leeds United fans have hit out at referee Darren England, who took charge of their clash against Millwall recently, after a couple of club officials were handed bans following unsavoury scenes in the win two weeks ago, with one fan calling the official ‘incompetent‘.
The FA revealed that director of football Victor Orta and head of communications James Mooney had both been fined and received stadium bans after their actions during the game against the Lions. Orta was accused of inappropriate language and/or behaviour at half time of the Championship clash, while Mooney admitted that his language amounted to improper conduct in a separate incident during the interval (via FA).
The fine means the two will be unable to attend the side’s game against Nottingham Forest this weekend as the Whites look to return to form. Fans were left questioning the lack of accountability placed on the shoulders of the referee after a few questionable decisions during the game as they took to Twitter to react. Here is a selection of tweets from the Elland Road faithful:
Yet the ref gets a prem league game.

Nearly £3k between them. And the referee and his staff get away with a horrific performance.

Fine the ref for not doing his job?

Easy way to avoid this is to employ better quality officials cos the current standard is abysmal

This doesnt reek of making up rules to avoid incompetent officials
