Leeds United: Fans lash out at FA with Kiko Casilla set to face hearing next week

Some Leeds United fans have lashed out at the FA after the latest reports about Kiko Casilla and his charge of racial abuse emerged.
According to The Telegraph, the Spaniard, who has appeared in every Championship game this season, could finally face a panel with the ‘keeper’s hearing into racial abuse set for next Tuesday and Wednesday. The news may come as something of a relief to everyone involved in the Whites’ promotion charge, with the club having been left waiting since November 4th, the date on which the former Real Madrid man was charged for aiming hateful comments towards Charlton’s Jonathan Leko (via The Guardian).
During the wait for his hearing, the former Real Madrid man has endured a spectacular drop in form, making five errors leading to goals and having a save percentage of just 47.4% across his last 10 league games (via LUFC Data). Some Leeds fans weren’t best pleased with the governing body as they blasted the organisation. Here are some of their reactions:
Unfair on him how long this has dragged on. If he is appearing before a panel next week you can see why he would be distracted. Should be rested for a couple of weeks though if that is the case

It’s last year’s spygate all over. Will do anything to prevent us gaining promotion

Joke how long this has been going on, I’m not making excuses for him but could this be a reason why he’s not been off it?

Unreal that an investigation can take so long. If guilty I expect the club to sack him. Cannot deal with racism in the game.

They’re holding out until he hits his run of form that’s due… or until Meslier gets an injury https://t.co/HXWKHekN1F
