Leeds United fans have been lashing out at Kiko Casilla after the Spaniard once again made an error as the Whites drew 1-1 with Brentford.
The Yorkshire outfit were firmly on top in the encounter, however, a momentary lapse in concentration allowed the Bees to take the lead after the former Real Madrid man let a back pass from Liam Cooper roll under his foot with Said Benrahma finishing from close range (via BBC).
One fan labelled him a clown, whilst another blasted him for not even being able to do the ‘basics’.
Get the clown gone

It’s his second error in just four days after Casilla also let Sammy Ameobi beat him at his near-post for the opening goal during the loss to Nottingham Forest last weekend (via Phil Hay). He was supported by manager Marcelo Bielsa, who claimed he didn’t need to offer the ‘keeper verbal backing because his decisions offer the Spaniard the support he needs (via Leeds Live).
However, it seems as though fans weren’t willing to forgive the 33-year-old as they took to Twitter to lambaste the player for his error. Here is a selection of responses:
Casilla is turning out to be the worst bit of business this club has done in recent years, at least the other sub par players we’ve had were on peanuts 🤦🏻♂️ #lufc

Casilla cost us one promotion. He’s costing us another. A player that is shot to pieces. A man crumbling before our very eyes.
