Leeds United: Fans lavish under-23s with praise after 5-1 win over Bolton Wanderers - Leeds United

Leeds United fans have been lauding the club’s under-23s after they beat Bolton Wanderers 5-1.

The victory saw the likes of Ezgjan Alioski and Eddie Nketiah feature in the side with the North Macedonia international, the Arsenal loanee (2), Jack Clarke and Robbie Gotts scoring the goals.

Alioski opened the scoring in the 18th minute after being teed up by Clarke, who sent in a cross from the right-hand side. The on-loan Tottenham Hotspur man then turned goalscorer when he hammered it in from inside the box.

Nketiah then got in on the act when he notched up the first of his two goals from the penalty spot after he was fouled in the area.

Clarke then assisted his second of the game after he crossed for Gotts, who slotted home following a Leeds counter-attack.

Nketiah rounded off the scoring with his second after Clarke completed his hat-trick of assists with a pass across the penalty box.

Fans were over the moon with the young side as they took to Twitter to laud them for the win.
