The Leeds United fans in the Transfer Tavern have been slating their own club after they put a post out thanking the fans for their support both home and away this season after the club’s 2-0 away loss at Fulham. Leeds were beaten 2-0 with Fulham scoring either side of half-time and the only positive for the Leeds fans was the incredible support of their fans at Craven Cottage.

The Leeds fans propping our bar up barely had time to get over Friday’s 2-1 win over Bolton before they were beaten at Fulham. The win at Elland Road over the strugglers was just their second win in 2018 as the club’s season has been derailed since the departure of Thomas Christiansen. Leeds found themselves at the top of England’s second tier for two weeks back in September but have struggled to keep their form going into the new year as the Yorkshire club now find themselves languishing 13th in the table.
The Leeds fans have been left suffering for most of this campaign and blame the poor management by the Elland Road hierarchy for the mess they’ve found themselves in. The club’s minimum ambition for the season would’ve been to ensure they reach the playoffs, however, they’re currently ten points away from 6th place Middlesbrough and with just 18 points left to play for, Leeds look doomed to endure another season outside of the Premier League.

As always the fans at Elland Road are amazing. Firing Thomas without giving him a full season is the reason we got rid of Cellino! So disappointing Just more of the same and now we have a coach who seemingly can’t win… well done @LUFC, well done

Tired of the lack of quality, passion and guile.
