Leeds United fans were professing their love for David Seaman after his claims about always been a supporter of the club.
In an interview regarding the club, the legendary ‘keeper spoke of the shock feel when they hear that he is a fan of the promotion-chasers (via Gummo). The Rotherham-born man played for the Whites’ academy, however, never made an appearance for the first-team and eventually left for Peterborough United, Birmingham City and Queens Park Rangers.
Seaman is most famously remembered for his spell with the Gunners, where he won 11 major trophies including two Premier League titles (via Transfermarkt). The boyhood fan has been vocal in his support for the Yorkshire outfit this season and shared his delight earlier this campaign when the team came back to beat Millwall.
Fans were full of love for the 56-year-old after he professed his love for the side as they reacted to his quotes. Here are some reactions:
He gave his ex girlfriend a signed photo of himself when she broke up with him when they were about 17. That girl is my friends mum, she still has the picture. What a hero
