Leeds United: Fans react hilariously as Phil Hay’s tweet jinxes Whites out of top spot

Plenty of Leeds fans have been reacting to a tweet from Phil Hay, which appeared to curse the Whites out of top position in the Championship.
We’ve all heard of the commentator’s curse, but how about the Hay curse?
You don’t need to look far for fan reactions to the journalist’s tweets, as his match day ‘GOOOOAAAAALL’ shouts have become a staple of following the Whites, providing you aren’t at the match of course.
Following one of those iconic celebratory tweets after Patrick Bamford scored his second of the day to fire Leeds past Luton Town and into top position in the Championship, Hay tweeted to inform his followers of their new position at the top of the table.
Just seconds later, Charlie Austin fired in a winner for West Brom against Sheffield Wednesday to send Marcelo Bielsa’s side back into second place, two points below the Baggies.
but Baggies scored. Quickest kiss of death in history, which is quite something given my record.
