Leeds United: Fans react negatively after truth over potential replacement for Adam Forshaw is revealed

Some Leeds United fans have reacted negatively after the truth emerged as to why the Whites didn’t sign a replacement for Adam Forshaw in the January transfer window.
In his press conference ahead of tomorrow’s game against Bristol City, Marcelo Bielsa revealed that for a player to be brought in, he has to be better than what he has at his disposal (via Phil Hay). However, the comments prove to be quite confusing, especially as Forshaw has just recently been ruled out for the rest of the season with a hip injury, leading to a lack of depth in central midfield (via Transfermarkt).
The struggles in the middle of the field were apparent during the game against Nottingham Forest, where the Whites struggled without Kalvin Phillips. Ben White took over in the enforcer’s position and the out-and-out central defender wasn’t up to scratch as he had a passing accuracy of just 76% and had 47 touches of the ball, the ninth-most of his teammates (via WhoScored).
These Leeds fans were left feeling unhappy about Bielsa’s comments as they took to Twitter to react. Here are some responses:
Ryan woods was available so that’s that excuse out the window

He’s been injured since September. Anyone is therefore better right now. The press really need to start asking follow up questions when he gives awful answers like this.
