Many Leeds United fans have reacted to comments made by Patrick Bamford about the club and his own personal future.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side sit top of the Championship table as things stand and are very much on the verge of gaining promotion to the Premier League.
The Whites’ success this term has been down to a collective effort, having bounced back well from defeat in the play-off semi-final to Derby County last season.
Despite a run of games over February without finding the back of net, the 26-year-old’s has been largely trusted by Bielsa and with Premier League football on the horizon, it does seem that the former Chelsea man will continue as the club’s preferred frontman.
Should Patrick Bamford be Leeds United's striker next season?
Yes, give him a chance
No, he is not good enough
Discussing his future at the club amongst other things, the front man has admitted that he is settled in Leeds and that he would love to remain at the club for “the foreseeable future.”
These comments have drawn a reaction from fans, who have mixed opinions over whether or not he should continue as the number one choice up front next season.
Reacting to Bamford’s comments via Twitter account @LUFCMOTcom, fans reacted…
🗣️ Bamford: “I don’t think I’ve ever been at a club and been as settled in terms of the area, I’m close to my family, I love the club, the training ground, I love the lads. Everything about it is perfect. I’d be delighted to be here for the foreseeable future.” #LUFC

Yes the lad needs to brush up on his finishing substantially, however, few if any, work harder than that lad FOR THE TEAM.
You only need look when he’s not played or went off late as a sub.
Suddenly, midfield and defence are under more pressure.
It’s not a coincidence.

He’s just not a goal scorer it’s as simple as that, he’s a good lad but do you want a striker that chips in with a few goals and works hard or do you want someone who can bag, I know what I would prefer but not allowed to say it 😂

No goals in 9 weeks. Not the form you want from a ‘foreseeable future’ striker #lufc

I was convinced he really didn’t like being at Leeds 😂

Certainly not good enough to be a starter in the prem unless he ups his conversion rate significantly

I’d have him for a while great player adds a lot to the team goals would be the cherry on the cake 🍰 IMO
