Leeds United: Fans reminisce over Pablo’s Hernandez’s strike in their last visit to Reading - Leeds United

Leeds United fans were reminiscing over Pablo Hernandez’s wonder goal in their 3-0 win over Reading in their last visit to their Championship rivals in March this year. 

The £1.8m-rated, as per Transfermarkt, Spaniard struck a fierce effort from more 20 yards out into the top-left hand corner with Mateusz Klich scoring the other goal in a brilliant win.

Indeed, it was a stunning season for the veteran attacker, who scored 12 goals and assisted a further 12 in just 39 games (via Transfermarkt).

It proved to be a crucial game for the Yorkshire side as they climbed to the top of the Championship in their chase for automatic promotion.

However, it was not to be as Marcelo Bielsa’s side were relegated to the play-offs, eventually losing to Derby County in a thrilling semi-final.

The last game at the Madejski Stadium brought back memories for the fans as they took to Twitter to reminisce over Hernandez’s goal.
