Leeds United: Fans slam Mateusz Klich following defeat to Swansea City

Leeds United were beaten for the first time this season on Saturday when Swansea City grabbed a last-minute winner.
FULL TIME: A late goal from Wayne Routledge seals the win for the visitors at Elland Road. 0-1

Marcelo Bielsa’s side completely dominated the tie from start to finish with 61.9% possession (as they have done in so many of their previous Championship outings this season), however their inability to finish their chances proved to be as costly as it was in the previous campaign (as noted by a match report by Sky Sports).
Indeed, the likes of Patrick Bamford and Ezgjan Alioski had chances to give the hosts all three points throughout the game, but were subsequently on the wrong end of a 1-0 result when Wayne Routledge gave the Swans the victory and pulled away from Leeds at the top of the division.
As has become the norm in the modern era, a number of fans took to social media to vent their frustrations following the game and a fair number of supporters appeared to take aim at Mateusz Klich.
The Poland international did not have the best of afternoon’s and was taken off the field of play in the second half as he failed to have a real impact in the game.
Fan site Through It All echoed the idea that he did not make much of a contribution on the pitch, as they gave him a playing rating of 5.5/10, stating: “Fairly quiet day on the pitch and it wasn’t a shock when he was substituted. Didn’t do a great deal wrong but he had no real impact today. Looked frustrated with his performance as much as Leeds failure to score.”
The Yorkshire Evening Post gave him a six as they wrote: “Linked up well in the first half but faded in the second. Wasn’t happy to be substituted, presumably unhappy with his own showing.”
Fans on Twitter, however did not appear to be as unforgiven with their opinions on Klich’s display though, with many of them sharing negative opinions of his performance.
Here are just some of their views…
Klich, Harrison, Hernandez poor last couple of games.

Going back to what I said before, Klich & Forshaw together at home doesn't work. Great away from home, but at home we look too limp in attack
Remember last season when Klich played in Forshaw's position but had Saiz or Roberts next to him how good we looked attacking wise? #lufc

21 shots, 3 on target, no goals is abysmal. Swansea managed 7 shots and 2 on target.
Surely has to start Costa now. Would leave out Klich or Harrison. #lufc

Klich offering very little lately, I'd leave him out and play pablo in there with Costa on the wing and drop bamford for eddie.

The midfield at Elland Road doesn't work. One of Forshaw and Klich have to be sacrificed at home, it is too defensive. Costa has to start. Bielsa has to stop being so stubborn.#lufc

In those sorts of games, we seem to attack slowly down the wing and just run into tight areas. We need to unlock teams through the middle, for me; Roberts walks straight into the team and drop either Klich or Forshaw #LUFC
