Leeds United fans were expressing their disappointment after Phil Hay updated them on what the club want to carry out on deadline day.
According to The Athletic’s journalist, the Whites have finished their business for the current transfer window and will make no more signings. Marcelo Bielsa’s side brought in two attackers and a ‘keeper this month with Ian Poveda, Jean-Kevin Augustin and Elia Caprile all joining the club.
Poveda joined the Yorkshire outfit on a four-and-a-half-year deal from Premier League giants Manchester City and the 22-year-old forward joined from Bundesliga table-toppers Red Bull Leipzig on a loan deal with a view to a permanent transfer. Meanwhile, Caprile joined the team on a three-and-a-half-year deal from Serie B side Chievo, having never made a senior appearance (via BBC)
