Leeds United: Fans want to see Mateusz Klich dropped from starting 11

Leeds United couldn’t claim all three points in their Yorkshire derby against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday and were forced to settle for a 0-0 draw (via BBC Sport).
Are Leeds destined for another season in the Championship?
Yes

No

The Whites attacking woes continued as they failed to score at Hillsborough, which means that they remain the lowest scoring team in the Championship’s top six at the moment (BBC Sport).
With Pablo Hernandez having missed their last six league games with injury (Transfermarkt), a lot of the creative responsibility has been placed on the shoulders of Mateusz Klich, who has been playing in a more advanced midfield position.
However, the Pole hasn’t really managed to make much of an impact in that role and has failed to provide either a goal or an assist in his last seven appearances for the Whites (via Transfermarkt).
Klich, 29, was a key player for Leeds last year, scoring 10 goals and providing eight assists in the Championship (Transfermarkt). But for whatever reason his form has significantly dipped this term, as shown by the stats.
As a result of his poor displays of late, several Leeds fans have been criticising him, whilst some want to see the Polish midfielder dropped from the starting 11. Here is what some had to say…
this might be a unpopular opinion but klich seems to be getting away with been woeful for past few weeks because hes a fans favourite,i cant remember his last good game #LUFC

Klich got to be dropped for Roberts now, so much more creativity and flair. Klich unfortunately lost his goal scoring threat… #LUFC

The need for a number 10 is concerning. Klich has been off all season

Tired, could do with a few weeks out to freshen up. Played every game and away on internationals too.

Not having the same impact as last season…. His not alone their either but I’d rest him for a game or two…. Give Roberts a run. Might just give Klich a boost in the long term.
