The Whites managed to return to the top of the Championship standings with their 2-0 win against the London-based outfit, with thanks to goals from the Wales international and Jack Harrison in each half.
Roberts, who was perhaps only in the starting XI because of an injury suffered by Arsenal loanee Eddie Nketiah in training, made his chance count as he registered his first goal of the season (Sky Sports).
According to figures collected by LUFCDATA, the attacker managed to achieve 42 touches, make 21 successful passes out of 26 attempted, with seven out of 10 in the final third of the pitch, had six touches in the opposition box, won four ground duels and took three shots which led to two being on target. He also attempted two crosses and created a further two opportunities for his team-mates to score from.
Indeed, fans were delighted with what they saw from the 20-year-old, leading to many of them taking to Twitter to laud his performance for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
Many of them believed Roberts was their man of the match, whilst some called for the manager to use him more often in the near future.
Here are just some of their reactions to his performance…

Very good. Exactly what we’ve been crying out for. Running at the opposition and not afraid to take people on. Got the potential to be deadly if given a run of games I think.

Real composure with that goal just picking his spot in the corner & hitting it side footed first time. True goal scorers instinct #lufc

Man of the match today Roberts for me. Top class no. 10 performance, plenty of creativity & a goal. First goal he’s scored for Leeds starting in that position. Plenty more please!

He’s starting to look like an absolute bargain buy if he can keep fit and keep the performance level up!
