Leeds United: Fans were impressed with Stuart Dallas’ performance for Northern Ireland

Leeds United fans took to Twitter to share how impressed they were with Stuart Dallas’ performance for Northern Ireland on Thursday night.

Is Marcelo Bielsa capable of taking Leeds United up?

The Leeds man was unable to prevent his country from falling to a 3-1 defeat to the Netherlands in their Euro 2020 qualification match, but he still managed to put in a respectable display that had many of the Whites’ faithful salivating on social media.

Dallas did help contribute with the goal, though, as he put in an excellent cross for Josh Magennis to score from – which had given the visitors the lead with just 15 minutes to go.

It may not have come as a surprise regarding just how good his performance was though, as the 28-year-old has been in exceptional form for Marcelo Bielsa’s side throughout the campaign.

Whilst playing predominantly as a right-back in his 11 Championship fixtures for Leeds, he has managed to achieve an excellent average of 1.7 tackles, 1.5 interceptions and 1.4 clearances per game, whilst also providing his team-mates with one key pass and 1.9 shots at goal (per WhoScored).

Indeed, his form was recently rewarded with a new contract to keep him at Elland Road, and his display against the Netherlands did not stop fans from singing his praises once again on Twitter.

Here are just some of their reactions to his performance…
