The Whites managed to secure a last-gasp 2-1 victory against the Hatters when Patrick Bamford had put Marcelo Bielsa’s side ahead before James Collins brought the tie level just minutes later (BBC).
The Elland Road outfit looked to be heading back to Yorkshire with just a point, despite dominating proceedings, however the Premier League promotion chasers managed to get what they, perhaps, deserved in the final moments.
An own-goal by Matty Pearson meant Leeds would remain just two points behind West Bromwich Albion in the race for the top-flight (Sky Sports).
Indeed, whilst fans would have been delighted with the result, many of them had taken to Twitter to gush over the performance of White after a number of statistics emerged regarding his display.
Twitter account LUFCDATA posted a message on their account that highlighted all of his key figures from the game, which led to a plethora of supporters waxing lyrical.
Here are just some of their reactions…
I remember when people were upset that Jansson was sold. He’s EASILY the best defender in the league and he’s been our best player so far this season behind Phillips.
