Leeds United: Fans worship Pablo Hernandez footage surrounding safe hands movement

Leeds United: Fans worship Pablo Hernandez footage surrounding safe hands movement - Leeds United

Responding to an initiative by Leeds United’s official club account, many Whites supporters have been in awe over the idea of washing your hands in the amount of time it takes winger Pablo Hernandez to score his screamer against West Bromwich Albion.

Hernandez, who has started 25 Championship games for Marcelo Bielsa’s side this campaign, scoring six goals and assisting six others (WhoScored) is now being used as an inspiration for supporters to wash their hands amid the coronavirus outbreak.

The club tweet, replaying Hernandez’ goal against West Brom in all its glory, includes a timer which calculates the seconds it takes for the Spaniard to score and celebrate the strike – attempting to persuade supporters to wash their hands for the duration of that time span.

In response, many fans have praised the idea whilst reliving the goal itself – describing the footage as ‘better and better‘ and ‘brilliant‘.
