Leeds United fans in the Transfer Tavern will be looking for the club to offload a number of players this summer as they look to rebuild their squad once again and mount a better challenge for promotion.
The Elland Road outfit has disappointed most with their performances during the mid-point of the campaign, as well as the back-end, having started off in fine form and looked good value for a Premier League place.
However, Thomas Christiansen was later sacked and replaced by Paul Heckingbottom in February and results have largely failed to change, with locals calling for the club to invest in new players and it appears the club have identified someone who could help get goals.
Phil Hay, who is the chief football journalist for the Yorkshire Evening Post, has claimed on Twitter that he believes a deal is likely to happen for Capri forward Jerry Mbakogu.
deal was set up in January and is there to be done. Likely to happen (or was last time I asked).

The two clubs proposed a potential deal in January worth £4million, however, the Serie B side were not willing to let him go halfway through. The Italians are in the hunt for promotion to the top-flight and the striker’s eight goals have been crucial.
The Leeds fans in the Tavern will be excited that they could potentially land someone that could find the back of the net on a regular occasion, although it would remain to be seen if he can do it in England. As you can imagine, after recent signings, the punters propping up our bar are slightly sceptical.
