The recent developments in the outside world have so far had quite a big effect on football and sports in general as everything has been put on hold due to safety and health reasons, leading to mass changes at Leeds United.
With the clubs getting almost no revenue or profit since no games are being played and people are staying at home at all times, it has put some of them in a rather tricky situation at Elland Road.
Of course, the richer ones can cope well even without a steady income for a while but most may look into other solutions to somehow minimise the damage.
Phil Hay provided us with an update from Leeds United’s camp as he stated the Whites are looking to agree on a wage deferral with the first-team players amidst the recent outbreak.
As a whole, that does seem like a generally good idea, as long as the players can actually afford to do that.
