Leeds United locals will be looking at who their side decides to bring in during the summer transfer window and those in the Transfer Tavern will be hoping some of the names mentioned can help them achieve promotion.
Paul Heckingbottom’s side have frustrated punters with their performances over the course of the campaign and a number of fans have voiced their concerns with a vast majority of their players. The Whites will need to recruit in the summer and according to reports, they have already identified one potential target.
The Sunderland Echo is claiming the Elland Road outfit are set to compete with a number of Premier League sides to sign Hartlepool United’s Josh Hawkes. The 19-year-old has only played in a handful of games, however, his displays are already turning a number of heads at higher levels.
His lack of experience could be a cause for concern for a number of the Leeds punters, however, he has proved he has a talent and could become someone to make a real difference in the future.
Leeds fans in the Tavern will be watching on with interest at how Hawkes plays for the remainder of the season and will be keen to see how he progresses. However, there are doubts that he would be able to contribute from day one and he would widely be regarded as one for the future.
