Life at Leeds United is currently a thoroughly enjoyable one. Indeed, with Marcelo Bielsa at the helm, the Whites are looking unbeatable at the top of the Championship and dreams of a long-awaited Premier League return are nothing less than rife at Elland Road.
The enigmatic Argentine’s influence in West Yorkshire is already obvious. His side press high, play quickly and finish ruthlessly, giving fans a glimpse of the kind of football to have made Bielsa one of the most revered coaches in the world over the past decade or so.
However, it’s not just the first-team who are seemingly enjoying his impact. That’s because the U18 side smashed Premier League Watford’s same age group 5-1 on Saturday, sending fans online into a frenzy.
With Leeds enjoying a huge amount of success from their academy over the past few years, the sight of yet more homegrown talents impressing as an undercurrent to the first team’s exploits, things are going very well indeed.

So, having said all that, here’s a look at how fans on Twitter reacted.
Leeds could end up like Tottenham with the young talent we have coming through. Prem this year and with the youth we’ve got the future looks bright.

I think under Bielsa we'll start seeing the young ones. Shackleton was one i didn't expect to get a chance before a few others. It'll all come down to league we in. You have to match the same ambitions as the youth players. They want to play at a high level so should the club

Jesus Christ – all our Leeds teams are running rampant at the minute. The way we used to be, owning teams & bossing games & scoring lots of goals. Fucking love it!! #mot
