It hasn’t taken long for the league leaders to be linked with a number of transfers yet their best option hasn’t yet been mentioned.
With all the talk of Samu Saiz likely to leave the club in January, midway through the Marcelo Bielsa revolution, Leeds will obviously need to replace one of their most creative outlets.
The 27-year-old has been poetic at times but all good things must come to an end, as some say.
Whilst being in a brilliant position to finally return into the top flight, Leeds could find it hugely beneficial to delve into the transfer market.
With plenty of options available and looking for game-time, the Peacocks may find their best Samu Saiz replacement to be in the form of Tottenham’s George Kevin-Nkoudou.
The Frenchman, who is valued at £6.3 million on Transfermarkt, has just 27 minutes of football to his name this season and last campaign wasn’t all too successful either.
Having moved on-loan to Burnley, Nkoudou was limited to just eight appearances in the Premier League, with only two of those games being ones in which he started.
Life in England hasn’t been great for the 23-year-old, who arrived with a great reputation when moving from Marseille.
A much younger Nkoudou once managed ten goals and five assists during a season for the French side but his form has since gone drastically downhill.
Marcelo Bielsa has done a brilliant job in transforming the whole of Leeds’ team, so why couldn’t he do the same with George Kevin-Nkoudou?
A move is what he needs and with regular opportunities with Samu Saiz out of the picture, it could be a match made in heaven.
