Marcelo Bielsa must seal these deals to get Leeds United ready for pre season

Argentine Bielsa is charged with turning around the fortunes off a stalling Leeds United. Whites fans are all eager to see what additions their club will make under ‘El Loco’.

Favouring an exciting 3-3-1-3 system which features a heavy press and an enganche, a ‘hook’ between the attack and midfield, Bielsa’s brand of football may come as something as a shock to Leeds United fans.

Known for his obsessive approach, Bielsa is a much needed change for Leeds United. Whether the players will have the technical and physical abilities Bielsa will demand is doubtful however.

The Leeds United boss has so far struggled to bring his transfer targets into Elland Road.

With that in mind, here is two deals the Argentine will be hoping to get over the line before the beginning of pre season…

Matej Vydra

He seems to endlessly hop from Championship club to Championship club, but Vydra would be an impressive signing for Leeds United.

If they can lure Vydra to Elland Road, it would do much to enthuse the Leeds United faithful before pre season. So far the club has seemed to stutter in its transfer business and has struggled to bring players through the door.

David Stockdale

A solid Championship keeper, Bielsa must move to get this deal over the line as soon as possible. The stopper needs time to get used to his defence and Bielsa’s style of football.

He has a strained relationship with his current club Birmingham City, so Leeds should be able to get this deal done, and soon.
