The Leeds fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to comments from manager Paul Heckingbottom as he’s been talking about Leeds’ 12 game spell as “horrific and horrible” and that he expected to pick up more points from the 36 available. Leeds ten points from twelve games puts them alongside clubs like Sunderland and Burton Albion in the form table.
Heckingbottom described this 12-game spell as "horrific" and "horrible". Would he have expected to pick up more points? "Too right." #lufc

Paul Heckingbottom was appointed as Leeds manager after Thomas Christiansen was sacked following the club’s 4-1 loss to Cardiff, although things haven’t gone as planned for the former Barnsley manager in his time at Elland Road. The Whites came into the season with high hopes of finishing in a promotion playoff place, and going into the new year the club looked capable of it.
Results quickly turned for the Yorkshire club though and within a matter of months, the fans watched their side plummet from 6th to 14th. The Elland Road faithful are still dreaming of a long-awaited Premier League return as next season marks their ninth straight year in the Championship. If the club are to gain promotion at long last in the next few years they’ll need to stop selling key players like Chris Wood last summer and start to build around what they’ve got, although the fans can’t see that happening under current gaffer, Heckingbottom.

We need Mick McCarthy Phil I don't know any manager that could be better to handle this club he has that mental toughness , sorry but hickingbottom you can butter coat what ever he did in league one with Barnsley but In all honestly I doubt any leeds fan got excited with him

What’s horrific is players turning up to training in top of the range land rovers when they can’t pass the ball to their own team mates
