Nightmare October: Leeds United

Leeds United have been simply sensational this season as they continue to push towards promotion to the Premier League.

The Whites are a force to be reckoned with in the Championship and won’t accept anything less than promotion after witnessing the start that their team has made.

Indeed, it’s vital that Leeds can ensure consistency as they build from here on in, with the month of October being a vital one in terms of extending some kind of lead in the automatic promotion places.

Although, with plenty of games still yet to come and a number of factors possibly coming into play, Leeds United could soon be in for a shock if things start going wrong.

Therefore, here’s TWO things that could force Leeds to take a step backwards…

TYLER ROBERTS ENCOUNTERS ROUGH PATCH

Tyler Roberts has certainly filled the void left by Kemar Roofe since being drafted into the side as he already has a number of goals to his name this season.

Although, things could all go horribly wrong if the young forward encounters a rough patch in front of goal, with Patrick Bamford still sidelined and Roofe needing time to settle back into the side.

Therefore, if the teenager struggles to find his feet in front of goal then the Whites could soon find themselves slipping down the Championship table.

SLIP AWAY FROM AUTOMATIC PLACES

Leeds United have made a very promising start to their Championship campaign as they continue to fight for an automatic promotion place.

However, things could all go horribly wrong in a split second in what is a hotly contested Championship, with only a few points separating a number of sides and places.

So, the Whites could soon find themselves trailing in the race for automatic promotion, with a dip in form causing for concern amongst Leeds United supporters.
