Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern are feeling hugely relieved after their club got back to winning ways at the weekend.
The Whites had begun to wobble of late with them losing to Brentford and Reading in their last two games but Garry Monk’s men brought that slide to a halt with a comfortable victory over Preston.
The play-offs, then, are still more than likely for the club as we enter the final few games and with it being the end of the season, player awards are getting handed out.
Indeed, the weekend saw Anthony Knockaert awarded the Championship Player of the Year for his performances for Brighton but it was evident that Whites supporters thought Chris Wood should have won it.
