Leeds United fans in the Transfer Tavern have been hilariously responding to a gesture made by their football club, in which any season ticket holder can bring a friend to watch the home match against Bolton this month for free. The lovely gesture from the Yorkshire club has prompted some comical responses from our resident Whites.
| As a thank you for your fantastic support this year, #LUFC season ticket holders can ‘bring a friend’ to this month’s game against Bolton Wanderers for FREE*

You can forgive Leeds fans for being pessimistic at the moment. The club’s 1-0 win over Brentford was their first of 2018 as Leeds’ hopes of a playoff place have been slowly put out by the club’s awful form in the New Year. Thomas Christiansen started his career at Elland Road brilliantly, as he found this side top of the Championship for two weeks in September. However, results quickly went against the Spaniard and in true Leeds fashion, he was sacked just halfway into his first season at Elland Road.
Leeds are now sitting 13th and 11 points off of 6th placed Middlesbrough. The season has slowly turned into another disaster for the Yorkshire club as they look set to suffer another season marooned in England’s second tier. The Leeds faithful will be optimistic that the club can turn their season around with the extra support they’re bound to get against Bolton, however, promotion now looks extremely unlikely.
With that in mind, here are our resident Whites’ responses to their club’s offer:
I couldn’t do that to any of my mates #lufc

Who do I hate that much?
