Leeds United have been very impressive this season as they continue to chase down automatic promotion under the guidance of Marcelo Bielsa.
The Whites have come on leaps and bounds under the South American since he joined the club, with promotion to the Premier League and the Championship title in sight.
However, the Leeds boss has his players to thank for the position the club currently finds itself in, with a couple of first team members enjoying a rich vein of form. Indeed, the Whites have been heavily reliant on particular players in pressurised situations, and it’s fair to say that they’ve certainly helped the side pull through so far.
With that in mind, here’s a look at TWO Leeds players that must keep up their stunning form…
The central midfielder has been earmarked for a possible call-up to the England squad recently as he continues to impress in the Championship for Leeds United.
Indeed, the Englishman has been the anchor at the heart of the Whites’ midfield, constantly harassing the opposition by adopting a dogged approach and linking defence to attack. So, it’s vital that Bielsa can continue to get the best out of the 22-year-old as he will play a huge part in their push for promotion.
Tyler Roberts was only called into action to replace the injured Kemar Roofe, but it’s fair to say that he has managed to fill the huge void in a short space of time at the pinnacle of the attack.
Indeed, the youngster has managed to bag a number of goals already this season, with his most important coming against Hull City recently.
But, it’s vital that he keeps up this form with Roofe shortly set to come back into the fray as it provides the Whites with two goalscoring outlets, which they’ll definitely need in the race for promotion.
