Leeds United are doing everything they possibly can to secure a place in the Premier League at this moment in time, with not many games left to go in the Championship.
Marcelo Bielsa really has transformed Leeds United into a team to be feared in the current campaign after years of stagnating in the Championship, with the supporters’ wildest dreams being brought to life.
And, it looks as if the Yorkshire club are already eyeing possible summer additions, as according to Football Insider, Leeds United have set their sights on signing Ryan Kent.
The winger has been nothing short of sensational during his loan spell at Rangers this season, so here are the potential consequences of Leeds signing him this summer…
EZGJAN ALIOSKI WORRIED
Ezgjan Alioski has been operating at left-back in recent times at Elland Road but it’s unlikely that he’d stay in that position if Leeds were promoted, as he could get found out by some of England’s best attackers.
So, Ryan Kent’s potential arrival would be sure to worry the Macedonia international as he operates on the left-hand side of midfield, which is where Alioski would normally operate if he isn’t playing at left-back. And, the Reds man has the pace, skill and attacking qualities to cause problems at any level, so Alioski’s place would be under threat.
VICTOR ORTA SECURES HARRISON HEIR
Victor Orta has secured a number of impressive signings in recent transfer windows at Elland Road and he could add another exciting name to that list if he manages to secure Kent this summer.
Jack Harrison is set to return to parent club Manchester City once his loan deal with Leeds expires and it remains to be seen as to whether he’d be ready to make the step up to the Premier League if promotion is secured, so Kent may just be the Englishman’s heir as he operates in exactly the same position.
