Rolando Aarons the man to take Leeds United to another level

The Leeds fans gathered in the Transfer Tavern are hopeful of a much improved Championship campaign under new boss Marcelo Bielsa.

Already the former Marseille manager has brought in a number of players to help improve what was a dire Leeds team come the end of last season, as they slumped to a 13th place finish even though they were in the play-off places at Christmas.

Flair and excitement haven’t been two words associated with Elland Road for a while now but that could all change with the signing of Rolando Aarons, who is valued at £630k on Transfermarkt. The 22-year-old seems to be running out of time with Newcastle as he was sent out on-loan to Hellas Verona last season but upon his return to St James’ Park, his future still seems in doubt.

Leeds could be the perfect getaway option for the winger seeing as his Newcastle career so far has been plagued with injuries and failure to get in the first team squad. Nevertheless after 11 Serie A appearances, Aarons continued to show supporters that if his top attributes such as pace and trickery are exploited, he could be a very fine wide player indeed.

The Lilywhites will happily invest in a young talent like Rolando Aarons because as well as a cheap price, if Marcelo Bielsa can bring the best out of him, they could certainly improve on their 13th place finish or even grab themselves the key to the Premier League potentially.
