Leeds United are absolutely thrilling supporters under Marcelo Bielsa this season. Indeed, while the Whites have a long way to go before they reach Premier League glory, things are going very well at Elland Road.
The Argentine is largely taking most of the plaudits amid their stunning start to the campaign, though there are a number of players who can also lay a claim to being the most important individual thus far. The likes of Kemar Roofe, Pablo Hernandez and Barry Douglas are all favourites in West Yorkshire but attacking midfielder Samu Saiz is arguably the cream of the crop.
In fact, so much, so that we recently asked our Leeds supporting readers whether or not they thought the Spaniard was TOO good for them. A loaded question perhaps but, considering his form this season, it’s not hard to image big interest in him arriving should Leeds fail to make the Premier League.
Naturally, the majority of supporters don’t think that’s the case. However, more interestingly, 25% of those who voted DO think the 27-year-old is too good for them, so promotion back to the proverbial Promised Land is clearly a priority bigger than ever.
