Leeds United have had a brilliant season this year and as it stands they look like they’ll finally return to the Premier League after so many years away.
United, however, have struggled with injuries throughout the year and Bielsa has had to rely on the depth of his squad to guide Leeds through the season. Up front, Bielsa has played both Patrick Bamford – who has recently returned from injury – and Tyler Roberts when Kemar Roofe picked up his injury.
Yet another one of the talented crop of Chelsea youth academy players that didn’t really get a chance at the club, Bamford joined Leeds in a £7 million deal from fellow Championship side, Middlesbrough.
The striker had spent five years at Chelsea without making a senior appearance for the side. Last season he scored 11 goals for the Championship side as they made the playoffs and looked like a good signing for Leeds. He may not have express pace but he’s an incredibly graceful player on the ball and is a cool finisher.
Unfortunately for the forward, he picked up an injury soon after joining the club and has only just returned to action recently. He has the talent to be a top level Championship striker and looks as though he could be a solid backup to Roofe.

Signed last January in a £2.5 million deal from West Brom, Roberts scored five goals in 17 games while on loan at Walsall and has made eight appearances for Leeds in the Championship this season has scored three goals in the league.
A player who loves to take on players with the ball at his feet, Roberts is a dynamic and direct forward. He can play on either wing as he has great pace but what he needs to work on is his finishing.
The 19-year-old is still incredibly raw when in front of goal and with that in mind, he may be more suited to play on the wing during the early part of his career.
It’s too early to tell how well he’ll do at Leeds and as of yet, just doesn’t have the pedigree that Bamford does.
TT Grade: C
It’s a tough battle to call. Both players are talented but with Bamford a proven Championship player, the former Chelsea man wins this one. He may hot have made much of an impact at the club yet but his experience and talent could be key for the club as they go towards the playoffs.Like what the TT have on offer?
