Many Leeds United fans have shown their support for a youth team player after he received a call-up to the England under-17s squad for their internationals against Russia and Ukraine.
Nohan Kenneh was the player who was called up to the Young Lions squad that will travel to Spain to take on the two nations. Kevin Betsy’s side will face their Ukrainian counterparts today before facing Russia on Saturday. They will then once again take on Ukraine in their final fixture of the Spanish tour next Monday (via Leeds Utd).
The 17-year-old has enjoyed a superb season with the Yorkshire outfit this campaign, earning himself a promotion to the under-23s, who are second in their respective league. He has also turned out for the under-18s in the FA Youth Cup, with the Whites facing Manchester United last night. These Leeds voiced their support for the young player as they took to Twitter to react to his call-up. Here is a selection of tweets from the Elland Road faithful:
This guy should be in and around the first team.
