The Leeds fans in the Transfer Tavern have been waiting and waiting for Marcelo Bielsa to get some signings over the line this summer, however, it could be this man who will be lighting up Elland Road next season. Kemar Roofe has been talking to the Leeds website and can’t wait for the season to start.

It’s no secret that Marcelo Bielsa has been putting the players through their places in his short time at the Yorkshire club and in his short time as Leeds boss he’s impressed a lot of fans with his pre-season preparations. However, the players are just as excited for the campaign as the fans and Kemar Roofe is no exception. The former Oxford United man will be hoping he can kick on in his Leeds career this season, starting at home to Stoke in August.
The fans have put most of their efforts into demanding the club sign some players this summer when actually, the answers to their problems could come in the shape of some of the old guard under a new coach. There’s no doubting that some new players are vital, but with some talented squad members in Roofe, Pontus Jansson, Baily Peacock-Farrell and Pablo Hernandez, this season could be a special one for the fans.
You can see what the fans make of Roofe and the season ahead here:

Whilst the odd fan is keen to get some more signings on-board, a lot of the Whites in the Tavern are looking forward to seeing the likes of Roofe and co shine under Bielsa.
