Luton fans took to Twitter in sheer ecstasy after Bradford win

This week so far has got to go down as one of Luton Town fan’s best week in years. On Monday evening they had the incredible news that the Newlands Business Park had been approved and would help to finance their new Power Court Stadium, and then just 24 hours later they continued their title charge with a 1-0 win at Bradford.

Achieving back-to-back promotions is no mean feat, yet Luton Town fans will be confident of doing just that. This time last season the Hatters were looking at their final run-in and backing Nathan Jones and their side to go all the way and make it to League One. Now, though, things have changed drastically. Kenilworth Road is nine games away from being a Championship ground and Mick Harford is leading the charge.
All that remains for the Hatters is to continue their form. At the moment they’re on a club record 24-game unbeaten streak, winning 18 of those and drawing the other six and if Harford can get his side to keep playing the way they are then there really is no reason why they can’t go up as champions. The Bedfordshire side are now five points clear of Barnsley after the Tykes drew to Sunderland yesterday, and the Hatters are all backing themselves to make it to the Championship now.

Awesome!!! @sheezdogg showing exactly how we’re all feeling. Another 3 points, Power Court approved, Newlands Park approved…..being a Hatter is just the best right now

The Hatters are in dreamland at the moment and will be pinching themselves all summer if they finish the job and win promotion to the Championship.
