The Hoops managed to get the better of Championship leaders Leeds United in the last round of the FA Cup, so they’ll feel confident that they can put in another impressive performance today.
Interestingly, Queens Park Rangers will travel to Fratton Park to face Portsmouth in the fourth round of the FA Cup later on today. Pompey currently find themselves sitting at the top of the League One table, so Steve McClaren’s side will be in for a difficult afternoon on the south coast.

He managed to put in a mature display against Leeds United in the last round of the FA Cup, along with making intelligent runs and using his pace to get into promising positions.
Portsmouth haven’t always been able to keep things tight at the back this season, so the 21-year-old’s pace and power could cause Pompey all sorts of problems later on today.
Aramide Oteh is another one of the Hoops’ academy talents who is really starting to impress in the first-team ranks, having featured four times already in the current campaign.
He managed to score his first goal of the season against the Whites in the last round of the FA Cup via the penalty spot, and worked very hard on and off the ball to create space for himself.
So, after helping his side secure a place in the fourth round of the FA Cup, McClaren has no choice but to gift the forward another starting place as he’ll be full of confidence after getting his goal.
