Middlesbrough are looking good in their quest to return to the Premier League as they continue to battle for top spot.
The Championship as they know is an extremely hard league that will be a tremendous challenge to escape from but with the quality they have embedded in their ranks, Middlesbrough can be confident in thinking they have a chance, at the very least.
There is still work to be done for Tony Pulis’ side due to the huge amounts of games the Championship requires them to play.
To ensure their players are always on their toes, who better to bring in than Everton outcast Ademola Lookman to provide quality on the wing and in a forward role?
Lookman, who is valued at £18 million on Transfermarkt, hasn’t really been given a chance at Everton despite his brilliant loan spell with RB Leipzig last season.
The youngster showed all his qualities in the Bundesliga as he went on to score five goals and provide four assists in just the 11 appearances he made.
Leipzig gave him the chance and Ademola Lookman didn’t let them down, similarly like the other young English talents playing out in Germany.
The 21-year-old has since been limited to just 54 minutes of Premier League action and for a player of his lively nature and raw ability, a move away at this stage would be his best option.
The Championship is a division he has experience in and that could come in handy for Middlesbrough and their promotion push.
A speed demon with an eye for goal, Middlesbrough can expect big things if they pull off a deal to steal away the Everton man.
