After Middlesbrough recently said that they would be willing to listen to offers for duo Martin Braithwaite and Britt Assombalonga, we discussed whether Boro should let them go.
The pair have been out of form in recent weeks, and have clearly fallen out of favour with manager Tony Pulis. The Welshman does not suffer fools gladly, and has a history of leaving players out in the cold if they have fallen out with him.
With that in mind, we asked whether you thought that Boro should sell these two in January, and these were the results:
What is clear to see with these results is that Boro fans are particularly unhappy with Braithwaite, with 44% of fans in favour of only the Dane leaving and 39% in favour of both leaving. That makes 83% of fans supporting Braithwaite’s exit in January. This may be alarming given Boro’s lack of attacking options at the moment, but that goes to show that the fans will simply not put up with his attitude.
