Middlesborough could do with bringing in an attacking player at some point this month as they are currently lacking any real quality in that area of the field.
Boro will be hoping that they can go further than the last campaign as they were knocked out in the play-offs. Although, if they want to seek improvements, they’ll have to make use of the loan system before the end of the month. And, One player who has shown plenty of quality and could thrive under regular minutes is Manchester City’s Brahim Diaz, who is currently valued at £4.5 million by Transfermarkt, and so perhaps Tony Pulis should consider strengthening in attacking areas.
The 18-year-old is seen as one of the stars of the future at the Etihad, and Pep Guardiola is a huge fan. Diaz made his breakthrough under the City boss last season, making five Premier League and three Champions League appearances. Also, the Spain Under-21 international picked up a title winners medal and will have a huge part to play in the Manchester club’s future. Although, with the Citizens making use of some of the world’s best in attack, it is impossible for the teenager to break into the side on a regular basis.
Indeed, the youngster loves having the ball at his feet as he uses his incredible dribbling ability and electrifying pace to get him into promising areas. Middlesborough waved goodbye to Adama Traore and currently lack quality in attacking areas, so bringing the hot Manchester City prospect to the Riverside would be incredible.
Would Brahim Diaz be a shrewd signing for Middlesborough… Let us know!
