Middlesbrough: Fans react to McNair’s suspension

It’s been a long season for Middlesbrough so far with them struggling for form and continually looking over their shoulder at the relegation places.
As things stand, they are safe in 20th place but are only three points above the drop zone with Stoke City looking to be one of the sides aiming to make up the gap.
Clearly, it’s not gone particularly well for Jonathan Woodgate so far in his first role as a senior manager and fans will hope that in the second half of the season things will turn around.
We reach the halfway point in the campaign after the weekend’s set of games but Paddy McNair won’t play a part in that or the two after as he is banned – as the club have confirmed:
