Middlesbrough are one of the favourites for promotion to the Premier League having enjoyed an unbeaten run so far this season.
Indeed, the Championship club are Leeds United’s closest challengers and have been completely redefined under Tony Pulis, so you wouldn’t rule out automatic promotion. And, to make things better, it looks as if Boro are eyeing a potential swoop, as according to Teamtalk, Middlesbrough are interested in signing free agent Bakary Sako.
The winger left Crystal Palace earlier in the summer after failing to agree terms on a new contract.
And, it’s thought that Middlesbrough are taking an interest in the Malian, with Pulis still searching for a suitable replacement for Adama Traore.
Bakary Sako has previous experience in the Championship from his time at Wolverhampton Wanderers, so he could definitely fill the void left by Adama Traore.
The winger still has a lot to offer and would provide creativity and goals at the pinnacle of the attack for Boro.
Supporters have been delighted with how their side has performed so far this season, but bringing Sako to the club would take things to another level.
