Desperate to see their side bring in a touch more creativity, the Middlesbrough fans in the Transfer Tavern desperately need some entertaining if they are really going to enjoy their first season back in the Premier League, rather than endure it.
Though many of the Teeside locals fear the potential exit of Gaston Ramirez, the Boro fans propping up the bar are hugely excited in regards to links with the likes of Jese Rodriguez. Indicative of the pulling power for the English elite, there are mouths watering in the Tavern.
So eager to see their side bring in attacking reinforcement, reports from the Daily Mail have gone down a storm amongst our drinkers. They’ve revealed the club are weighing up a surprise move for Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish, having conducted a lot of business with the Midlands outfit of late.
The likes of Adam Traore and Rudy Gestede have moved to the Riverside in recent months, while Albert Adomah went the other way, so the lines of communication are believed to be open right now. Villa, currently revamping their squad under Steve Bruce, do rate the 21-year-old highly though could sanction a move to adhere to FFP regulations.
Despite his problems off the pitch, the Boro fans in the bar hope Grealish can fulfil his obvious potential on Teeside.
Would Grealish benefit from a move away? Let us know below…
