Middlesbrough are already looking to the January transfer window as they look to spend some of the money they received during the summer.
The 20-year-old has been identified as the man to replace Ben Gibson, who decided to join Burnley this summer.
Tony Pulis is thought to be an admirer of the centre-back and it is believed he is already trying to beat the competition to the signing of the powerful enforcer.
It is understood that Le Havre are prepared to listen to offers for their defender and the experienced boss is prepared to splash the cash he received for Gibson and Adama Traore on reinforcing his defence.
Middlesbrough have already started the Championship season in fine fashion as they currently sit top of the division after three matches.
However, Pulis will know it is only just the beginning of a very long season and will feel Moukoudi can help to improve the defence in the winter.
It would remain to be seen if the Riverside outfit can convince the defender to make a move to England’s second-tier, as it is believed that he may have been linked with a move to a Premier League side in the past.
