Middlesbrough are one of many teams launching a serious promotion bid so far this season and with experienced manager Tony Pulis at the helm, that definitely seems like a real possibility.
Remaining in hot pursuit of 1st place, Boro have reinvented themselves this season and their form suggests that they could be more ready for the Premier League challenge that lays in wait.
With an abundance of experienced players in their side, as well as top Championship manager Tony Pulis, Middlesbrough seem to have all the credentials to reach the promised land sooner rather than later.
To boost their chances of achieving just that, bringing in a creative winger to improve squad depth in the form of Tottenham’s Georges Kevin-N’Koudou would be a very good idea.
N’Koudou, (who is valued at £6.3 million on Transfermarkt) is still only 23-years-old and is deserving of another chance in England, having failed to make a mark with Tottenham or when on-loan with Burnley. In N’Koudou’s defence, he has had fantastic competition for places at Spurs but Middlesbrough are calling out for a winger of his quality, ever since Adama Traore left in the summer.
Similar in pace, N’Koudou likes to get at his man like Traore does as well and he is a player that would excite the home fans in attendance. Considering how well Boro have been playing so far, N’Koudou would have to earn his right to get into the team but the Frenchman has proven in glimpses to be a very useful asset.
The Championship is a long, hard campaign and it certainly requires squad depth for those teams chasing promotion and not only would-N’Koudou give Boro that but also great quality that could be unlocked.
