Middlesbrough will be hoping to recapture their very best form so that promotion can be achieved this season.
Tony Pulis will on the whole, be happy with how his team have performed during this campaign but at times too, Middlesbrough have been shown up.
With that happening even though the Championship hasn’t reached it’s half-way stage yet, it could be vital for Boro to invest in some more quality players during the January transfer window, if they’re seriously wanting to achieve promotion back into the Premier League.
A winger could be a position they look to improve upon and Bournemouth’s Jordon Ibe could be a brilliant solution to their wide problem.
Ibe, who is valued at £8.1 million on Transfermarkt, has struggled to find a regular spot in Bournemouth’s starting line-up having started just one game this season.
With Eddie Howe’s side flying high in the table, there haven’t been calls to change around the team, hence why Jordon Ibe has stayed sidelined.
At Middlesbrough though, Stewart Downing and Marcus Tavernier have proven to be unreliable at times and could be bettered with the arrival of Jordan Ibe as well.
The Englishman is still only 22-years-old and has plenty of time ahead to find the right time and prove week in, week out why he isn’t a flop and why he’s an attacker defenders wouldn’t want to come up against.
With a great abundance of pace, trickery and an eye for goal, Jordon Ibe could be a welcome addition down in the Championship, a player that could ultimately help Middlesbrough find a place in the Premier League.
