Nottingham Forest fans were full of praise for Joe Lolley after the attacker’s goalscoring performance against East Midlands rivals Derby County.
The Reds ran riot against their Championship rivals as they won 3-0 in the Carabao Cup and advanced to tonight’s third round draw.
Albert Adomah opened the scoring in the 25th minute, before crossing the ball for Lolley, who planted a header into the back of the net. Joao Carvalho rounded off the scoring when a clearance ricocheted off him for Forest’s third goal.
However, it was Lolley who the fans were singing the praises of after his second goal of the campaign (via WhoScored).
Lamouchi’s side face promotion-chasing Preston North End on Saturday afternoon as they look to extend their six game unbeaten run.
Fans were excited by the performance of the 27-year-old and took to Twitter to laud him.
