Nottingham Forest: Fans discuss whether Brice Samba is better than Karl Darlow - Nottingham Forest

Brice Samba has quickly made himself something of a cult figure (noted by the Nottingham Post) at the City Ground and the 25-year-old certainly has an exciting future ahead of him.

The goalkeeper has barely put a foot wrong since joining Forest and has displayed a commanding presence in his box, often coming to the aid of the defence by collecting the ball in the air. Indeed, he has built a great understanding with the likes of Joe Worrall and Tobias Figueiredo, which has helped the team concede just 29 goals in the 31 league games in which he has featured.

Sabri Lamouchi has done a brilliant job with the defence and his decision to bring in Samba is proving inspired, with many fans convinced that the Frenchman has been their best shot-stopper for some time.

Karl Darlow is another who impressed between the posts at Forest in recent years, appearing in 111 games and keeping 35 clean sheets, which was enough to earn a move to the Premier League. Still, many supporters believe that he doesn’t compare to Samba even when he was at his best when the questioned was posed to some of them online.
