Nottingham Forest: Fans show support for Joe Lolley after Charlton defeat

Nottingham Forest slumped to a 1-0 home defeat to Charlton on Tuesday night and, despite many poor performances from the team, some Forest fans praised Joe Lolley after the match.
The winger took to social media after the game to express his disappointment while admitting that he and his teammates hadn’t been good enough.

Some fans seemed pleased by his reaction to the loss and responded with well-wishes and messages of support, perhaps in an attempt to boost him ahead of a crunch tie against West Brom on Saturday. A trip to The Hawthorns presents Sabri Lamouchi’s side with a great chance to bounce back quickly and put Tuesday’s disappointment behind them, as it is an opportunity to get one over a promotion rival.
Lolley could be key against the Baggies. He has scored seven and assisted six league goals (per WhoScored) this term, proving to be a reliable figure for his side, and he will likely be the focal point in attack to whom his teammates will look if Lewis Grabban remains unavailable.
Here is some of the reaction to Lolley’s Twitter post.

You did your best joe, no ones denying that, those deliveries towards the end demonstrated how frustrated you were, you won’t be playing with bong and Jenks down those flanks every game, chin up 👍
