Nottingham Forest haven’t lived up to expectations so far this season as they continue to drift away from a play-off spot.
Forest invested heavily over the course of the summer transfer window and will no doubt be relying on a number of their new signings to lead them towards promotion this season.
However, Nottingham Forest will travel to the Liberty Stadium to face Swansea City in their next Championship encounter. The Swans managed to secure all three points against Millwall at the Den last time out with 10 men for pretty much the whole of the match, so it’s clear to see that they’re a well-organised side.
Nevertheless, Aitor Karanka has some decisions to make in terms of team selection, with a couple of players possibly forcing their way into the side.
With that in mind, these TWO Nottingham Forest men must start today…
Lewis Grabban secured a season-long loan move to the City Ground from Premier League side Bournemouth during the summer transfer window after spending last season on loan at Aston Villa.
However, the Englishman is still yet to open his goalscoring account at Nottingham Forest but has been able to provide for his team-mates.
So, Aitor Karanka should put his trust back in the forward after witnessing Daryl Murphy’s inability to score last time out against Brentford.
The midfielder managed to bag himself a goal last time out against Brentford, but this was only off the substitutes’ bench as he has struggled to nail down a permanent place in the side so far this season.
Therefore, Karanka shouldn’t hesitate to switch things around after such a disappointing first half performance at Griffin Park, with Matty Cash getting the nod.
